I started this quilt in a workshop with Keiko Goke at a retreat with members of the Professional Art Quilters Alliance. Using the supply list given out ahead of time, I brought with me some Rust-Tex Trees fabric and some fabric I had hand-dyed previously but had never had the heart to cut into. The other fabrics are commercially produced batiks and prints. Although the piece is successful, it is not reflective of my preferred style. I include it here to show how Rust-Tex looks when used in a pieced quilt with other fabrics.

Free-motion quilted with Mettler cotton machine-quilting thread.
